I was really looking forward to learning more about the many functions of Excel and will gladly admit that I was doing things the "slow way" before I was taught that Excel can do much of the hard work for me. I often use Excel at work for shared templates and calculating the amount of money that someone owes. It takes some times to remember all of the tricky codes, but once you have them memorized it will make your life much easier in an office setting.
The first example that is attached is a budget plan that I created, and because I used Excel I was able to calculate averages of my weekly spending and easily identify my minimum and maximum weeks of spending all with the use of fairly simple codes. The second example is a spreadsheet of Girl Scout cookie sales and includes a graph to show the data visually. Lastly, is my research project analysis in which I used many new formulas and tied in what I had learned from both previous assignments to display data that my research group collected based on the question, "How does studying effect GPA?"
